Many dog owners take advantage of off leash dog parks to give their companion a chance to exercise and socialize with other friendly dogs. There are two dog parks in Myrtle Beach where pet owners can let their well-behaved dogs run and play.
Bark Parc south
Barc Parc South was the original leash-free dog park in Myrtle Beach. It is located off of Mallard Lake Drive near Grand Park and The Market Common. The park consists of over 14 acres and also includes a large Lake.
Barc Parc Noth
Barc Parc North is just adjacent to the YMCA on 62nd Ave North Extension. Barc Parc North has 3.3 acres of space for play and opened in the fall of 2009.
Both Barc Parcs are fully fenced for the safety of all canines. North Barc Parc has separate areas for large and small pooches. All dogs must meet the height requirements which are posted on the entrance gates. Behavior rules are also posted and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and correctly disposing of all waste materials. Tools for picking up waste are provided at both Barc Parcs.
