The Value of the Dream Life for Ken and Kim Sobieski
Ken and Kim Sobieski are both accounting/financial professionals. Is it any wonder that they searched for the best value for their time, their investment, and their family legacy?
From their first vacation on Myrtle Beach in September of 1999 when they were on their “babymoon” (the vacation shortly before the arrival of their first child October 26, 1999) they fell in love with the beauty, peace and value of the area.
Value isn’t just important to Ken and Kim; it’s important to their entire family. When Ken and Kim have time to escape the hustle and bustle of their busy lives in Ambler, Pennsylvania and spend family time enjoying their son Jason, age 15, and their daughter Jessica, age 13, they want the best possible experience for all four of them.
Vacation time in Myrtle Beach became so important and meaningful to our kids that if they had a choice of going to Disney World or to Myrtle Beach, they chose Myrtle Beach.
Ken and Kim’s intention is that the value of family time will extend through the generations. Myrtle Beach can become the “go to” place not only for their current family vacations but for the vacations of their children and eventual grandchildren. Jason and Jessica will be able to enjoy the family second home on Myrtle Beach now and in the future as they have their own families. Myrtle Beach can become a family tradition and a legacy of memories.
Myrtle Beach brings out the smiles.
The value of creating a family time legacy cannot be measured in numbers. Selecting a second home and creating a long term family “go to” place takes careful thought, selection and planning. Ken, Kim, Jason and Jessica had stayed at many different properties throughout their various vacations in Myrtle Beach. Selecting the perfect second home for them was easier because Myrtle Beach kept drawing them back with its beauty and charm.
Their three favorite locations throughout their numerous Myrtle Beach vacations were Crescent Keyes, Blue Water Keyes and Ocean Garden Villas. They didn’t want a huge complex. Ken and Kim wanted something smaller and newer. They knew their new vacation home had to be 2 or 3 bedrooms. Their love of the water compelled them to seek a beach front property; a view of a lazy river would be a bonus. A pool was important to all of them. They decided that Blue Water Keyes, in North Myrtle Beach was perfect for them. And speaking of North Myrtle Beach, they say,
North Myrtle has always been our family time. We like the family friendly atmosphere of the Myrtle Beach area and have never had a bad experience in all the years we have vacationed there. We will use this as our second home. Our hope is that as the kids get older, they can go with friends and maybe even their families someday. Not sure if we would ever use it as a full time retirement residence but we would hope to use it as often as we can…and even more so in our retirement years.
The decision to purchase a second home in Myrtle Beach was easy. The selection and purchasing process are not always as exciting and smooth a process as the initial decision. Knowing what you want is the first step. Finding the perfect real estate professional to work with you in locating your dream vacation home is the second step. Through research and reference Ken and Kim found Deborah Rhyne of Dreamlife Realty.
“Deborah at Dreamlife Realty made the process so much more pleasant than we could have ever expected. She listened to us. . .really listened to what we wanted. We felt that she immediately knew how to help direct our search. Most realtors are there for you before and during the purchase; Deborah was there for us before, during and after our purchase.”
“She went above and beyond. We will try and connect with her anytime we are in Myrtle Beach. If we ever have an opportunity to make a recommendation to someone looking to purchase in Myrtle Beach, we would, without hesitation, and with utmost confidence recommend Deborah. She was the perfect person to assist us with this purchase.”
Ken and Kim are thrilled with their new vacation home in Myrtle Beach. They found the value and the dream life to establish a family vacation home and start a family legacy. They look forward to enjoying their new home even more during prime vacation season and the “off season.”
