With the passing of Labor Day, our thoughts turn to all things ‘fall’. Pumpkins, changing leaves, a crispness to the air and of course, warm drinks of all kinds..namely coffee!
There are many fabulous coffee shops in Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas. Some are laid back and some are hubs of activity. No matter which type you prefer, you’ll have no trouble finding a great cup of coffee and a great atmosphere. The list below represents some of our favorite coffee shops in Myrtle Beach.
1.Fresh Brewed Coffee House

Fresh Brewed Coffee House is right in the heart of downtown Myrtle Beach. The atmosphere is eclectic and laid back…the perfect combination for a coffee connoisseur. Self-described as the ‘pulse of the artisan scene’ in Myrtle Beach, Fresh Brewed Coffee house is known as a great place to experience live local music and even art shows! 2.Boardwalk Coffee House (at Barefoot Landing)

Boardwalk Coffee House specializes in gourmet coffees, including lattes, espresso, cappuccinos, and fresh roasted brewed coffee. They also offer cold, fresh fruit smoothies and frappes. If you’re hungry, you’ll be delighted with their selection of snack, desserts, and speciality sandwiches. Breakfast sandwiches are available all day! Boardwalk Coffee House is the perfect place to a take a break from shopping while visiting Barefoot Landing.
3.Barefoot Barista

Barefoot Barista Coffee and Tea House is situated in the heart of Pawleys Island. Well trained baristas brew coffee that has been purchased directly from farmers. All teas are certified as organic and are brewed right at tableside. Food is also available, including breakfast, lunch and dinner crepes. For those with a sweet tooth, the dessert crepes are not to be missed. Live music is also offered on an in-house stage.

Caffee Diem’s website describes its atmosphere as “new, yet old world”. Coffee lovers will delight in the varied offerings which include lattes, espresso, freshly brewed coffees, loose leaf teas as well as a wide variety of smoothies. The food menu is interesting and unique yet simple enough to have something for everyone. A good selection of wine and craft beer is also available.
5.The Roasted Bean

Located in The Market Common, the Roasted Bean has a great location, free wifi, and a wide selection of drinks. Often, live music can be enjoyed just outside The Roasted Bean’s doors. Check them out next time you spend an afternoon at The Market Common.
