My Story

Mary Beth Selden, originally from Ohio, has a decade of experience in the real estate industry. In 2001 Mary Beth moved to the Myrtle Beach area. After years of vacationing in the area, the wonderful weather, easy going pace and friendly people drew her in and she knew she belonged in South Carolina.

Mary Beth’s approach to real estate is simple: she understands how important it is to listen to her clients.

“I really try to listen to my clients… to find out as much as possible about their lifestyle, careers, children and grandchildren. I pride myself on being easygoing and not pushy. I want my clients to be happy with their purchase and I am very honest and never force properties on them."

Mary Beth enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life, and appreciates the flexibility her position with Dreamlife Realty offers. She finds that her clients are wonderful people and easy to work with, and, as a baby boomer herself, she identifies with the wants and needs that her clients bring to the table.

“Most of my clients are very happy and can't wait to live here. A lot of them come from the North and hate the cold..something I can readily identify with! As a baby boomer myself, I have a lot in common with my clients.”
