Victor and Sharon Znaty thought they were ready for retirement.
Victor, who is from France, and Sharon, born and raised in Texas,had visited Myrtle Beach while they were living in Boca Raton, 
Florida. The couple fell in love with the Grand Strand’s lovely beaches, the laid back lifestyle and the wonderful people who called Myrtle Beach home. However, after making the move to South Carolina, they felt like something was missing.
“We realized that retirement was not yet for us,” Sharon explained. “We wanted to open a place where we, ourselves, would like to eat, have a good coffee and some great pastries…something different for Myrtle Beach, a change of pace.”
And so, the dream of Le Bon Café was born. Victor, who had spent years in the restaurant business in France and the United States brings not only great fare to Le Bon Café, but an abundance of authenticity. With possibly the finest French pastries in the city and baked-fresh-daily baguettes and croissants, Le 
Bon Café is like a little piece of the “City of Lights” here in Myrtle Beach. Customers will discover a fine selection of imported food and beverages at Le Bon Café such as Orangina, cornichon pickles, French Press coffee makers and fine candies, as well as delicious French onion soup, lemon tarts and ‘Victor’s Crotin’, an open-faced sandwich with warm, melted goat cheese served on a green salad with his famous vinaigrette dressing.
Opening Le Bon Café has proven to be one of the best decisions Victor and Sharon have made.
