They have over 270 physicians and 1,400 staff members along with a sizable group of volunteers all dedicated to providing superior health care in Myrtle Beach.

Not only does Grand Strand feature an exceptional cardiac unit but they also have a designated Level 2 trauma center by the American College of Surgeons and DHEC. They have also won recognition for their superior service in treating cancer, diabetes, heart attacks and heart failure along with spine surgery, knee and hip replacement.

According to Healthgrades, a company that evaluates the performance of approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide, the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center’s cardiac surgery program “has been ranked #1 in SC for the fourth consecutive year and among the top 5% in the nation for cardiac surgery for four consecutive years (2010-2013).” In fact, Grand Strand has been rated one of the top 100 best hospitals in the USA for the past two years.
