Dean and Jade Wooten have traveled the world. 
“I have been blessed in my line of work to win trips and travel all over the world. But Myrtle Beach is like home. There is no place like it.”
Dean and Jade focus on home, family and tradition. Dean said, “I’ve been married to the same wonderful woman, Jade Wooten, for 26 years.” Dean and Jade have two children Brandon and Breanna. Brandon will be attending Appalachian State University and Breanna will be a sophomore in high school.
Dean owns an independent insurance agency, the source of the contests to win trips. After you have seen the world, it is so nice to know you come home to the best. Jade is a nurse. Their family home is in Statesville, North Carolina, but Myrtle Beach is their “go to” vacation spot.
Dean has been vacationing with his family in a condominium on Shore Drive since the early 80s and Jade has joined him there since the early 90s. Brandon and Breanna have vacationed at the condominium on Shore Drive their entire lives.
Owning a second home in Myrtle Beach has been on the bucket list for many years.
“We fell in love with the area many years ago. It has been a dream to be able to purchase a condo there. It was very important to purchase in the area we have been coming to most of our adult lives.”
The lure of the waterfront and being able to walk to the beach was a “must have.” The warm familiar feeling of being in the same area, the same street and the same building was important; they wanted to continue the multi decade family tradition of vacations on Shore Drive.
“We can walk on the beach, go down to Ocean Annies, listen to music, go to the pier to fish or just watch others, go over to Flip Flops to enjoy a cold drink, talk to locals or other wonderful folks down for vacation. You don’t ever have to get in your car. You can walk or rent a golf cart to reach everything you need.”
When Dean realized that two units were for sale in the same building (A Place at the Beach) they had been enjoying for years, “the rest is history” as the expression goes. They contacted Dreamlife Realty to assist in checking an item off their bucket list and continuing the family tradition. Their dream is now a reality.
Dean and Jade plan to rent their condominium and also use it for their own family vacations. At least for a few years . . . they will share their new second home with vacationers. In time they plan to come to Myrtle Beach as often and as long as they want to enjoy the beautiful beach and the area they love so much.
Dean and Jade envision continuing the tradition of vacations on Shore Drive. They want to pass on to Brandon and Breanna all of the wonderful memories they have and continue to create new memories in their new home.
Brandon and Breanna have started but some day they will bring their children. Dean and Jade look forward to bringing their grandchildren to their Shore Drive home.
Imagine playing on the beach, immersing yourself in the local culture and relishing being a part of the community of Myrtle Beach. They do, their dream life is now a reality. Dean and Jade’s new home on Shore Drive continues the Wooten legacy of home, family and tradition as a priority of life.
