Jack Bileci and his wife, Kara raised their children in the small New Jersey town of Newton. For years, the Bilecis had vacationed in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where they grew to love the coastal atmosphere.
When Jack’s daughter, a restaurant owner, moved to Columbia, South Carolina, Jack and his wife started spending more time along the South Carolina coast. His daughter, who owned a home in Myrtle Beach, shared her love of the Grand Strand with her parents, and they caught the ‘Myrtle Beach Bug”.
“Our Daughter couldn’t say enough about how beautiful Myrtle Beach was. After a couple of years, my wife and I decided to start the search for our retirement home in the area.”
Jack and Kara browsed internet listings for a few months, and were able to narrow their search down to a few developments in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach. The couple decided they wanted a three bedroom townhouse or condo that would be close to the beach but not right on the coast.
“We decided to look where the most beautiful sceneries are and that led us to the golf courses.”
At this point the Bilecis knew they needed a real estate agent, so they sent their names out to over a dozen realtors. Most of the realtors just sent them links to listings that were available but gave them very little feedback. Then, they found Deborah Rhyne at Dreamlife Realty.
“One day while surfing the web I came across Deborah. I was looking at all the properties she had listed in Barefoot Resorts and thought I would give her a call. Much to my surprise I didn’t get a voice mail… I got Deborah. I told her what I was looking for and she began sending all the listings and telling me which she thought were the best units for my family.”
Jack and his wife were in constant contact with Deborah as she guided them through all the properties that she thought would fit their needs. Since Jack’s job didn’t allow him to get away for house hunting, he relied totally on Deborah’s opinion and diligence. When she sent the Bilecis the stats on a property in Barefoot Resort, they had a feeling it was ‘the one,’ still, it was a little scary not being able to see the property for themselves. And then, an unexpected phone call.
“That day Deborah had gone over to the unit and taken dozen of pictures for me. She even called me when she got there to point out all the little details that may or may not be wrong with the unit. I couldn’t believe that she would take all that time out of her day to make sure I got the best deal possible.”
The Bilecis faxed an offer, and over the next 4 weeks, Deborah helped close the deal.
For the next couple of years Jack and his family spent a lot of time enjoying their second home. The beauty and serenity of the surroundings solidified the Bilecis’ love of the Myrtle Beach area, and when they decided they were ready to upgrade to a larger townhouse, they again called upon Deborah Rhyne and Dreamlife Realty.
“That call was really easy,” Jack says, “because unlike other realtors Deborah kept in constant contact with us, in fact we’d become close friends over the years. When I contacted Deborah and told her what we wanted to do she put our unit up for sale and found us the town house of our dreams.”
The Bileci family was able to develop not only a great client/agent relationship with Deborah, but a deep level of trust. The experience of buying a second home or retirement home should be seamless and easy…after all, living the dream life means experiencing a smooth and easy transition…right from the start.
“Deborah did everything for us, from finding the law office to handle the closing, to finding the home inspector to inspect our house. She was even able to find the furniture company to furnish our new home. It was more than my wife and I could ask for.”
Thank you, Bileci family, for letting us, here at Dreamlife, be a part of your own dream life.
