You hear about family values in the media. Ronnie and Susan Warren live their family values every day. Susan’s career has been raising their three children and now caring for their grandchildren. Ronnie’s career has also been focused on youth; he is an agriculture educator. He walks the talk by also being a part time farmer. A small farm in Sampson County, North Carolina has been home to the Warren family for over 32 years.
The value of education has flowed through the generations as well. Ronnie’s father was an educator in the North Carolina school system. Ronnie became an educator in the North Carolina school system and Anna carried on the family’s love of promoting learning by choosing education as her career. Anna’s husband T. J. missed the family vacation picture because of classes he was taking.
Ronnie and Susan have been blessed with son Rollin, daughter Anna, daughter Julie, son-in-law T. J. (Anna’s husband), and grandchildren Abbi-Kate and Tres. Rollin’s girlfriend, Alexis is the newest addition to be welcomed to the family circle.
Family has been the center of adventures, vacations and great moments from the time Susan started visiting Myrtle Beach as a young girl. Aunts, uncles, and cousins would join Susan’s family for numerous vacations at the Myrtle Beach campgrounds. Throughout their 33 year marriage, Ronnie and Susan have continued that family tradition by spending many of their summer vacations at North Myrtle/Myrtle Beach.
“We have always dreamed about having our own place at Myrtle Beach. All of our children have grown up loving the Myrtle Beach area as we have.”
The Arcadian section of Myrtle Beach have been some of our favorite areas. We were especially attracted to these areas because they offer the perfect combination of entertainment and great beaches.
Myrtle Beach offers so many opportunities: vacation home, permanent residence, investment property. Any of the above can be waterfront, golf course, restaurants, etc.
Ronnie and Susan’s dream of owning property in Myrtle Beach came true.
“We chose to buy Arcadian Dunes to use as vacation rental and second home. This will produce some nice income during the prime tourist seasons and we will go down mostly in the Fall and Spring. As owners we are able to block the unit from rental for our own use as we desire.”
Talk about a win-win investment. Arcadian Dunes feels like home. It is a short walk to the beach and close to great local entertainment and nice restaurants. After Ronnie’s retirement from teaching next summer, it will likely become their second home. They will have a country home, a beach home and a beach home investment property. Their dream life is continuing the family tradition of fun and togetherness in Myrtle Beach as owners.
“We really liked the Arcadian section of Myrtle Beach, near shore drive, and knew this area would be our choice for our second home.”
The family legacy continues as Ronnie and Susan plan their transition to their second home. They are excited about the potential to enjoy both properties with the children and grandchildren throughout the year.
